Aside from it taking me a bit to figure out how to post onto the new DeviantArt, I'm kinda linking the new features that DeviantArt added to the site, being able to see all the news from people you watch/follow makes it really nice to keep up with friends work.
Also, I'm hoping this new interface will make it easier for people to find content that is getting pushed behind. Perhaps even increase the exposure of photography on DA, but I'll save that for another post.

This is my first Journal entry and figured this would be the best time to thank the very generous anonymous deviant for giving me a premium subscription. You know who you are! I certainly don't. 
The subscription was quite possibly the most unexpected thing to have happened to me on DeviantArt so far and I think I can say without a doubt that I am very happy and excited to get a premium subscription. There are so many things available now, I don't honestly think I've tried all of them out yet. As of right now my favorite feature is the "Request Critique", but I'm sure I'll warm into the other features too.
I'm quite humbled by the fact that I was given the subscription as a thank you for my work. As per your message - I will try to keep improving my photography and hopefully keeping the quality good too. I honestly didn't think at this point anyone liked my work to that degree, and it was rather exciting to get that positive review! I had no idea I was given the subscription until I was at the DeviantArt Comic Con booth where I was uploading a photo and saw the "Request Critique" button enabled, soon after I was trying to find how I managed it. I thought for several minutes that it was because I logged at Comic Con, but I found the message in my inbox soon after. I'm pretty sure quite a few people were quite confused when I spontaneously yelled "Sweet!".
Anyway, I hope you continue to like the work I do, I hope I can improve with the added benefit of critiques and other such features! I would have posted this sooner, but I was trying to figure out who you were. Needless to say, I failed on that quest.
